It was a LONG afternoon for the girls and I. Our appointment for the doctor was late in the afternoon so that Mike could come with us.
So we get there and end up waiting for about 30 minutes in the waiting room. Then wait another 20 minutes for the doctor to come in and see the girls after they had been weighed and measured. By this time the girls were just starting to get hungry. Everyone had a good check-up and the doctor said I was doing a good job. That was very nice to hear. Then it was SHOT time. YUCK. The girls got all their booster shots and we also got our flu shots. Apparently the girls have to get the flu shot as two small shots. YUCK. So we will have to return in December and then in February for their 9 month check.
In short the girls weigh the same... 17 lbs and 14 oz. Haley is still longer than Autumn at 26.5 inches and 25.5 inches respectively.
As soon as they start grasping small Cheerios in between their index finger and thumb they can start eating table food and thicker cereal.
Still waiting for them to hold their bottles all the time.
Autumn is now rolling from her back to belly and when she wants back onto her back. Haley isn't rolling yet but is closer to sitting without support.
I can't believe they are 6 months already! Time is really going fast!!
We left the doctor's office almost 2 hours later and since it was getting late and we still hadn't voted we took the girls with us to the voting booths.
We were VERY lucky at the polls because there were only 2 people in front of us and we were in and out in less than 10 minutes. We were also lucky because the girls had fallen asleep before we left the doctor's parking lot and were still sleeping when we left the polls.
On the way home we grabbed a burger and by the time we got home the girls were awake and wanted their bedtime bottle. We changed them and put them to bed after their bottle.
All in all it was a busy afternoon and evening!Comments:Add a comment:
